Foursquare Celebrates International Women’s Day

March 8 is International Women’s Day, a global celebration honoring the achievements of women and a reminder of the ongoing fight for gender equality. As part of our leadership principle In All Things Diverse, Foursquare’s commitment to equitable hiring practices and advancing gender parity across all facets of our company is a cornerstone of our culture and paramount to our success in delivering the world’s leading location platform.

FTW and Femmesquare

Two of our employee resource groups (ERGs) focus specifically on honoring community for women at our company. Foursquare Technical Women (FTW) is on a mission to build connections amongst under-represented genders in technical roles and to foster support for one another. Femmesquare aims to empower the women of Foursquare, creating a culture where this group has a safe space to seek support around personal and professional growth. Both of these groups aim to strengthen gender equity and career development at Foursquare.
